Sailor moon is coming out with new loot to pick up from many different countries and some even in the USA. However, the biggest news so far is that Sailor Moon gets a NEW anime series in summer 2013. Now for all the moonies out there myself included lets hope the whole end of the world is just a bunch of nutters running around crying that the sky is falling. Most of us were hoping not for a reboot (which is what it is being called on a few websites) but a remastered version of the old show that we all grew up with. It would be nice to get a redub for the USA as well as the Sailor Star series or heck even just official subs would be grand.
With this reboot fans maybe surprised not only that it might follow the manga more but the artwork itself. We may come for Sailor Moon only to find an different Serena looking back at us from our t.v.( if that will be her name for the English new version) I know I shouldn't complain any Sailor Moon is better then nothing. And most likely I will be buying it to check it out. In my heart through I hope they do add the old series to the blu-ray set with the new series. It would be a nice nod/bow to the roots of Sailor Moon.
What are your thoughts? Do you want to see a new age design for Sailor Moon- Or do you hope they keep the style that we all grew up with? Would a re-dub be much better? Or what if we got a whole new series to see where our favorite scouts are and fighting 20 years later- all grown up...with a fresh new story line?
Will you be happy that they are having a new singer for the opening theme?
